These photos are from what we thought was Coal Oil Point at the time, but I think we were actually south of Coal Oil Point. Tidepooling in Santa Barbara was much fun. We saw lots of starfish and anemones...


...and even this cute little nudibranch. We found out later that this kind of nudibranch is called a Sea Lemon. It was very exciting to see him inching around in the sand.


We also found mysterious Santa Barbara Beach goo.


Which I stupidly stuck my finger in, thinking it was hardened rather than gooey.


But seeing as that was almost three months ago, and I haven't contracted any strange diseases from it, I think I'll be okay.
